i'm from reno.

i'm trying to make many transitions. throwing away and selling the things i don't need because there is a good chance there will be 6 bodies in this small area in the upcoming months. and really, all i feel like doing is slowing down and appreciating life a little more. this year has been filled with so many memories that i hardly remember. when did that all start anyway? i'm just going to use the excuse, "hey, i'm barely 21. this is just a phase." for now. there was a time in february where i was drunk 20 days straight. but why am i doing this? i'm gaining nothing but worthless, impersonal conversation and random phone calls from unknown numbers. and i do this thing, i don't know why, but i steal futile things that i don't even want and are useless to me. when we were in sf, i stole a stack of already developed polaroids from matt's apartment. i returned them to him at work the next day. i also shoplift like crazy, sometimes things i want, but sometimes things i don't want. and it's the worst when i steal more booze cuz i'm probably already to the point where i should have stopped drinking three drinks prior. but the past weeks i've been doing well moderating believe it or not. i really have enjoyed the last three months though, regardless of blackouts, drunk dials/voicemails/texts, losing things, breaking things, injuries, et-cetera, et-cetera, doing stupid, stupid dangerous shit. i am lucky and very grateful. i've just kinda been crazy, you know? who hasn't?

this past weekend i decided to have my own spring break. suze, b and i drove to vegas and stayed with suze's parents. they made three meals a day for us. after laying out by the pool we went shopping friday. mostly to aa cuz haha matt gave us his 50% discount. it was prettty great of him to do that for us. we went out friday night and met up with old friends and new friends. we got home a little late, around 8:30 am. we slept all day watched some six feet under, ate dinner then headed to my aunt and uncle's house for a short visit and then to susan's sister's house. sunday was easter and after bfast, suze's parents put on an easter egg hunt that we were pretty into. we shotgunned a beer with susan's dad then we packed up and left for la. we went to miceli's for dinner in hollywood. it was entertaining. after that we went to peter's apartment in santa monica. he really took good care of us. we went to a club called 86 that one of his clients owns. we watched some really good blues. we got home before last call. the next day we spent the day in beverly hills eating at sprinkles, chipotle and pinkberry. i'd move to southern california for pinkberry alone. or should i say crackberry. we went back to peter's and walked to santa monica beach and i swam in the ocean and laid in the warm sun. that night we went to a few places with peter and his friends. we found out later that it was peter's birthday. we had $77 worth of patron margs between us, for free. we had two pitchers of beer and two drinks and chicken sandwiches galore, for free. we got home before last call again. it was really laid back and a nice change. peter wants up to come back over summer on a weekend so he can take us to all the clubs he has client connections with. apparently pittsburgh slim is one of his clients (whoever that is) and was rapping at opera that night after we left. what a shame. the drive was long but much different from the reno to vegas drive which made it better because we had no idea what was next. something about the element of.... surprise? i guess.

but it feels great being back in reno. susan, brittany and jessie are in sf right now. i'm here because i have a job to attend to to pay bills and survive and what not. i'd like to say that i'm here to continue my healthy lifestyle and savor this rare alone time, but i know if it weren't for work i'd be right there with them, getting out of hand. but, none-the-less, i am enjoying this rare time alone. go me. and go andre.

this is my first post on this thing. we'll see if i go back to lj.
